MMTA President's Message   Many thanks to all who helped make our 1999 state convention a success. We had marvelous speakers, adjudicators and clinicians, and we're sending wonderful performers on to the January Divisional auditions in Des Moines. A real treat was getting our first look at our new MMTA website, www.MissouriMTA.org. Brent Hugh has worked many hours to make this a useful tool for all our members and to provide information for others who are interested in our organization. We appreciate your comments and ideas to help make this site attractive and meaningful. Preparations are underway for next year's convention at Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, November 9-12, 2000. Steven Houser is making plans, and I know he would welcome your suggestions. I hope that many of us will be able to attend the National Convention in Minneapolis in March. We had great representation last year, and we all came away with renewed friendships and many new ideas.
