    MMTA President's Message

Hope you all having having a wonderful productive spring and summer. It seems that very much of our teaching is directed toward keeping our students motivated, and recently I began collecting some motivational quotes to post around my studio. You know, those little sayings that are all too familiar, but have that ring of truth to them. I thought I'd share a few with you in this article.

"If anything's worth doing, it's worth doing poorly! (That means it's okay to make mistakes during the learning process.)" - Peter Lord

"If we did all the things we are capable of doing we could literally astonish ourselves." - Thomas Alva Edison

"What does it take to give it your best shot? Everything you've got!" - Larry Bird

And my grandmother Daisy's favorite saying, "Just crack down on it!"

I wish you many successes this season, and whatever you feel is important for you to do right now (leisure is allowed, too), JUST CRACK DOWN ON IT!!
