St. Louis Music Teacher Assoc. program with Donald Morelock of Schoolcraft College, April 14th
Friday, April 04, 2008
Sheila Ryerse of the St. Louis Area Music Teachers Association sent this announcement:

Our final program before the May luncheon will be at 10 a.m. on Monday April 14, 2008, when we will have the pleasure of hosting Mr. Donald Morelock from the Schoolcraft College in Livonia Michigan. In discussing the details of the program with Mr. Morelock, I was struck by his genuine manner and his true interest in providing our members with a well-considered and thorough presentation. He is truly the embodiment of what a good piano teacher surely must be.

Please take a moment to read his biography to discover the breadth of his experience.

It will be of particular interest to hear about the unique private-teacher training program Mr. Morelock had developed at his two-year state college. He is most excited to tell us about it and to explain the details of both its inception and fulfillment. In addition, Mr. Morelock will present his thoughts and ideas about his strategies for developing a technical foundation for intermediate piano students and he will emphasize sequencing and materials to assist us. With his vast teaching experience, we should be in for a real treat. There will be lots of hand-outs to refer to both during the program and after you get home.

It would be wonderful to have a roomful of interested teachers in attendance. Please plan to be there and invite those you feel would be interested in hearing the program.
