I am writing to solicit nominations from our membership for the annual Teacher of the Year Award. This award honors outstanding accomplishments in teaching, performing, and community service. I have enclosed the application form (click here to download the application form in Word DOC format).

I’m sure we all feel that picking one qualified teacher above others is a difficult job. However, our state board feels strongly about honoring a teacher every year. We would like to have a good pool of applicants. There is no lack of outstanding teachers in our organization!
