Provisional Audition Room Schedule for 2001 MMTA Convention at SMSU
This is the room schedule for the 2001 MMTA Convention. The schedule also includes most--but not all--MMTA convention events. It is placed here so that audition chairs, convention planners, and other interested MMTA members can comments and suggestions about the audition schedule.
At this point (14 October 2001) the schedule is pretty well set. Session times and rooms are set. Audition times and rooms may still need to be changed slightly for various reasons.
The best format to view the schedule pages is PDF format. This requires the (free) Adobe Acrobat reader for viewing. You can download the Adobe Acrobat viewer at www.adobe.com.

Miscellaneous Notes to Audition Chairs
- I have blocked out what I hope is ample time for each audition--somewhat more time than has actually been required for recent auditions. For instance, I blocked out 8AM-1PM Friday for MMTA Lower/Grad auditions. Last year these auditions took only 2 hours. If we again have only 2 hours of auditions for 2001, then you should plan to have a later start than 8AM--for instance, run the auditions 10AM-Noon or 11AM-1PM. I think competitors, teachers, adjudicators, and chairs will all be happier if we avoid early morning start times, when possible.
- Please do check that the auditions you chair are at appropriate times, in appropriate rooms, and so on. Let me know if you find any problems (bhugh@mwsc.edu).
